Those days as children while playing hide and seek jokes trying to outsmart and deceive each other while playing. There is a word used in describing a failed attempt in either deceiving or out smarting each other called Miookoko- Mioo, an age long Ngwa dialect expression of of frustration and failure.
Those of them that ran to Governor Alex Otti thinking he was going to change his old person : Miokoko-Mioo. They have all been disappointed. Most of us knew that leopard a can never change. Gov Alex Otti is unforgiven, he prefers loyalty more than competences and can never forget.
Gov Otti still bear bitterness towards those that refused him party ticket in 2014 even till now that God answered him. He still does not acknowledge them even if they were instrumental to the success of Labour Party in 2023.
Unfortunately, these men and their supporters are sobbing quietly on what has befallen them.
Gov Otti has held on to the few remaining members of Abia Arise group. This is the group that has been with him since 2014 and he does not trust any other support group in labour Party or any structure owned and managed by any memeber of the party. In short, it is alleged that the Governor deliberately will suffocate those structures to ensure they do not pose threat to his stronghold of the party.
The Governor made sure that the 300 people that went to Nasarawa on Agriculture were exclusively Abia Arise members only .
The 1b interest free Abia loan for entrepreneurs are 80% members of Abia Arise group.There are the only group Gov Otti believes worked for him, others are pretenders.
The Federal government /world bank grant of N1m to 100k under NG-cares programme which targets about 3000 beneficiaries is also exclusively for member of Abia Arise. This is the way all the federal government palliatives are being distributed in Abia. 80% for only Abia Arise group.
All the people who stood out for Gov Otti which includes, Abia workers, Abia Pensioners, Obident groups, structures owned by those that defected early 2023, most church leaders Miookoko Miooo.
