Former Deputy Leader of Aba South Legislative Council, Hon. Augustine Akomas, has responded to recent comments made by Prince Ikedi Ezekwesiri, a former lawmaker who represented Umunneochi in the Abia State House of Assembly.
In a Facebook post on Friday, Akomas dismissed Ezekwesiri's claims, stating that his position is "irrelevant and cannot hold water." Akomas accused Ezekwesiri of being a "political liability" who has consistently worked against the interests of the People's Democratic Party (PDP).
Akomas questioned Ezekwesiri's credibility, asking how many polling units he won for the PDP in the last election. He also pointed out that Ezekwesiri has a history of switching parties, having previously left the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) for the PDP.
Akomas concluded that Ezekwesiri is a "featherweight politician" who should not be taken seriously. He emphasized that the PDP knows who worked against the party's success in the last election and that Ezekwesiri played a prominent role in that effort.
